That's why I created DirectoryGems: a curated collection of directory examples with labeled traffic estimates, recorded authority, categories, and deeper case studies where enough public evidence exists.
These directories are scattered across industries and easy to miss. Each example is selected to spark better questions—not to imply verified profit or guarantee that copying a model will work.
How do you choose which directories to feature?
Every directory we list is reviewed for three criteria:
• A genuine listing- or entity-driven experience
• Enough public information to make the example useful
• No obvious deceptive or unsafe behavior
Traffic and authority figures are third-party estimates. We do not claim access to a listed company's private analytics or profit.
Can I pay to get listed?
Nope. DirectoryGems is 100% curated. We only feature directories that meet our standards and serve our audience. Sponsorships might come later, but integrity comes first.
